AWC Online, distance learning courses and make-up exams

Testing Services administers examinations for online courses and make-up tests. Instructors must complete the correct form and send it to Testing Services. The instructor should notify the student that the test is available at the Testing Center.

Guided Course Placement is to assist you in choosing the appropriate course(s) at Arizona Western College. This process will include multiple-choice questions to help you choose course(s) in English and Math.

If you are a new student please sign up for a AWC Discover. If you are a continuing student please schedule an appointment with an advisor by using the online booking form.

The GED test is available to all persons who do not have a High School Diploma and are interested in completing the General Education Development (GED) test series. The test is available in English and Spanish. Eligibility for underage examinee;

  • Must be 16 year of age
  • Must provide the following documentation;
    • Verification from the last school attended, certifying formal withdrawal from high school, and is not in an elementary charter or home school.
    • A signed, notarized, and dated statement of consent from a parent or guardian.
    • Government Issued Picture ID that includes date of birth, legal name, current photo and a signature.
    • All documentation must be delivered in person. The minor must be present with legal ID.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

CLEP allows students the opportunity to receive credit by examination. CLEP credit policies vary among colleges and universities, so the credit given by AWC may be increased or decreased upon transfer. How to register for a CLEP Exam The Arizona Western College CLEP site code is: 4013

There is an institutional fee for each CLEP exam of $30 payable to Arizona Western College.

DSST Exams
