Commencement Ceremony Details
We look forward to honoring our 2021 graduates for their hard work and achievement. Arizona Western College will be hosting two Commencement Ceremonies this year on May 13th and 14th at 7:30 p.m. The ceremonies are being held in person at Gila Ridge High School’s Veterans Memorial Stadium. Graduates are expected to arrive by 7:00 p.m. and meet at Gila Ridge’s “Upper Field” for graduate line-up.
The ceremonies will follow CDC guidelines. Masks are required and social distancing is highly encouraged. Due to COVID-19 we will be reducing guest attendance to two guests per graduate. The guest tickets and the graduation invitation will be mailed to the student in their graduation packet. Guests will not be admitted without a ticket.
The ceremony can be viewed online at 7:30 p.m. via AWC’s Facebook Livestream and on channel 74.
Finally, any graduate who participated in the 2019 virtual ceremony and wishes to walk the line in person during the 2021 ceremony may do so. Please contact graduation at 928-344-7711 or at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
