Ándale's Food Pantry

AWC is a community-based college that is dedicated to both its student population and the community families that it serves.

As part of this dedication, AWC maintains a food bank to help meet the needs of the community through food clothes, and toiletries generously donated by students, staff, and the greater Yuma community. Please consider helping this community by donating now!

About Andale’s Pantry

Andale’s Food Pantry is designed to meet the immediate food needs of its students on campus by providing a variety of non-perishable food items and basic necessities to students and their families. The Food Pantry is located in the ES101 and will operate limited hours throughout the semester.

How to Access the Food Pantry

Students must be enrolled in at least 1 AWC credit to apply for assistance from Andales Pantry.  The fillable form online will help our staff understand our population better to make sure that we are providing assistance to all of our students.

Food can only be picked up by the currently enrolled Arizona Western College student who completed the application.  Students will have the option to pick from the food, clothing, or toiletry inventory.  Additionally, students will have the option to pick up a “hot meal” food card when available.  This option will be in the form of a card that can be used once for the week and then turned back into the office.

**Items received from Andale’s Food Pantry have been donated or purchased from several on-campus and off-campus partners. None of the parties or groups involved in the program make any guarantees as to the quality of the food or its value for any particular purposes. Some of the food distributed at Andale’s Food Pantry has surpassed its “best by” consumption date. The USDA states that the “best if used by or before” date is recommended for best flavor or quality. It is not a purchase or safety date.

Arizona Western College and the original donor does not assume any liability or harm (including injury or death) or losses in connection with the food or supplies I have received. I assume any risks and covenant not to sue the released parties with respect to such harm or losses.

Andale’s Food Pantry operates on limited funds and by the support of others and is a volunteer program run by donations. We cannot guarantee that we will have food available, but we can suggest additional locations/resources.
