Institutional Surveys
Arizona Western College participates in institutional surveys to gather feedback from students, faculty, and employees about their experiences and perceptions. Survey results provide valuable information to support institutional planning, improvement efforts, and decision-making. This page provides information and available results from AWC’s institutional surveys.
Arizona Western College regularly measures student satisfaction through the Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI). AWC began administering the SSI in Fall 2010 and typically administers the survey every two years. The SSI helps AWC better understand students’ satisfaction with and priorities for their college experience and provides comparative data from other two-year colleges nationwide and within the Western region.

The College Employee Satisfaction Survey (CESS) measures employee satisfaction with various aspects of the college experience and workplace environment. Results provide insight into employee perceptions and help identify institutional strengths and areas for improvement. The findings can be used to support institutional planning, improvement efforts, and decision-making.
2013 Information:
AWC administered the College Employee Satisfaction Survey in Fall 2013 to measure employee satisfaction. Results were compared with those of other two-year colleges across the nation that administered the same survey.

Arizona Western College participates in the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) to better understand students' experiences and engagement in their education. The survey focuses on institutional practices and student behaviors associated with learning, persistence, and student success.
