Prepares students for an entry-level role in data analytics with a focus on spreadsheets, data cleansing, and analysis.
Program Purpose
Graduates will demonstrate basic knowledge in data analytics that will prepare them to obtain an entry-level position within the field.
Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to clean and organize data for analysis.
- Complete analysis and calculations using spreadsheets, SQL, and R programming.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to visualize and present data findings in dashboards, presentations, and commonly used visualization platforms.
- Utilize key analytical skills (data cleaning, analysis, and visualization) and tools (spreadsheets, SQL, R programming, Tableau).
