AWC Jazz Ensemble to perform upcoming concert


Yuma, AZ (February 17, 2022) – The Arizona Western College Jazz Ensemble will present an evening of jazz music for all ages to enjoy during their first concert of the semester.

The performance will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, at the AWC Theater, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. 

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to benefit student scholarships.

Parker, AZ (February 16, 2022) – Randy Hartless is a walking testimony that it’s never too late to pursue an education.

After dropping out of Parker High School at the young age of 15, it wasn’t until 30 years later that he decided to buckle down and attain his first college degree.

AWC Police Department awarded $9.5K grant from Arizona Governor’s Office for Highway Safety


Yuma, AZ (February 1, 2022) – In October 2021, the Arizona Western College Police Department (AWCPD) was named as the recipient of a $9,594 grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office for Highway Safety.

The funds will be used to purchase an Intoxilyzer 9000, a breath analyzer machine utilized to determine a person’s blood alcohol content.
