Yuma, AZ (July 18, 2019) – In an effort to reduce recidivism, Arizona Western College currently has three Career and Technical Education (CTE) certificate programs for incarcerated students to enroll in at Arizona State Prison Complex - Yuma. Available programs for inmates at three of the five units at the facility include Masonry, Foundations of Construction, and Plumbing.

This large informational event will inform community members and students about the many disciplines available at AWC and will provide an opportunity for participants to begin the process of selecting a major.
CTE summer camps provide several learning opportunities in June
May 30, 2019Yuma, AZ (May 30, 2019) – The Arizona Western College Career and Technical Education (CTE) department is offering a number of summer camps in June on Drones, Construction Trades, Gaming, Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Math Readiness, and Culinary. Classes will be held for a variety of age groups, ranging from 13 and up, at the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Avenue 8E.
