Yuma, AZ (March 15, 2018) – Arizona Western College is holding their 8th Annual Agriculture Student Industry Forum to give students an opportunity to meet with industry experts.
During the forum, agriculture majors from AWC and University of Arizona Yuma will have a chance to talk with members of the local agricultural community about job preparation and career options.
The event will be begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 23, in the South Wing of the Schoening Conference Center, 2020 S. Ave. 8E.
Yuma, AZ (March 14, 2018) – Arizona Western College Transfer Services, the AWC Alumni Association, and the AWC KEYS program will be hosting a University Transfer Signing Day to celebrate students who are continuing their education beyond AWC to Arizona state universities.
The event will be held on Thursday, April 26, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the LR Breezeway on the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E.
AWC Music Department presents Celtic concert
Yuma, AZ (March 8, 2018) – The Arizona Western College String Ensemble, Chamber Choir and Youth Choir will be performing an Evening of Celtic Music on Sunday, March 18.
The concert will begin at 5 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1550 S. 14th Ave.
The community is invited to attend this free event. Free will donations will be accepted to benefit AWC Music Department student scholarships.

AWC, NAU Yuma hosting Startup Weekend for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Yuma, AZ (March 5, 2018) - Arizona Western College and Northern Arizona University Yuma are hosting their second Startup Weekend on March 23-25, to help aspiring entrepreneurs launch new business ideas and technologies.
Last year’s inaugural Startup Weekend resulted in several business ventures and prizes awarded to participants.
YUMA, Ariz. – Notice anything different about the Charlie Dine Softball Field? How about a better view from behind home plate? The field received a face lift earlier in the spring when Arizona Western College invested $60,000 in the field to put in a new, state-of-the-art netting system to replace the old, chain-link fence backstop, add a warning track in the outfield and laser level the field.
