La Paz campuses to offer Grant Mini-Series Workshops
January 9, 2020Parker, AZ (January 9, 2020) – Arizona Western College will have grant workshops for the community to take advantage of at the Parker and Quartzsite campuses in January and February.
Multi-Generational Workshops to be held at La Paz campuses
January 9, 2020Parker, AZ (January 9, 2020) – Arizona Western College will be holding a Multi-Generational Workshop at the Parker and Quartzsite campuses on Jan. 29.
The workshop will review the values and work/classroom related preferences of different generations. Attendees will learn about the generational differences that may cause conflict in the work/classroom setting. Participants will also learn various strategies to help manage these challenges.
Workshops held in conjunction with Financial Aid Month at AWC
October 1, 2019Parker, AZ (October 1, 2019) – October is Financial Aid Month at Arizona Western College La Paz campuses.
Students in La Paz County will have the opportunity to attend Financial Aid Workshops to learn about what funding sources are available to them. Staff will assist participants in preparing for the Spring and Fall 2020 semesters by helping them complete the financial aid process and fill out the 2020/2021 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid.)
AWC Parker holds Creative Coffee House Open Mic and Artists’ Showcase
April 26, 2018Parker, AZ (April 26, 2018) – Creative writing students from Arizona Western College’s Parker and Quartzite Learning Centers will be hosting a Creative Coffee House Open Mic and Artists’ Showcase on Wednesday, May 2. The event is co-sponsored by the Future Leaders of La Paz student organization and will begin at 6 p.m. at the AWC Parker Community Center.
