Yuma, AZ (August 11, 2022) – Arizona Western College is celebrating the start of construction on its new two-story, 45,000 square-foot Student Experience Center with a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, August 17, at 7:30 a.m. The facility is projected to open its doors in the Fall of 2023.

Yuma, AZ (August 9, 2022) – Arizona Western College TRIO KEYS invites first-year college students to join their Guided Pathways to Success (GPS) program. GPS is a college experience program that assists students with the transition from high school to college.
Yuma, AZ (July 21, 2022) – Yuma Investment Group Wealth Management recently donated $10,000 to the Arizona Western College Foundation to benefit East Yuma County students.
The contribution was the result of the firm’s recent Carson Partners Impact Award, which gives winners a $5,000 match award to donate to their favorite organization.
High school students pay discounted rate of $25 per credit
Yuma, AZ (July 20, 2022) – High school students are invited to visit Arizona Western College on Tuesday, August 2, to get a head start on their college education.
During the Early College Day event, high school students will have the opportunity to prepare for their future Dual or Concurrent Credit Courses by attending an information session that includes Admissions, Registration, and Advisement.
Yuma, AZ (July 14, 2022) – This Tuesday, July 19, the AWC Foundation and The Consulate of Mexico will award $15,000 in scholarships to benefit 15 students. The public is invited.
Parker, AZ (July 7, 2022) – Recent La Paz County high school graduates who committed and registered for the fall semester at Arizona Western College were honored during a Matador Day signing event.
On June 22, students were celebrated for their pursuit of higher education alongside their families during an inaugural ceremony and dinner at the AWC Parker Community Center.
