Jazz Ensemble to hold spring performance May 8
April 11, 2024Yuma, AZ (April 11, 2024) – The community is invited to join the Arizona Western College Jazz Ensemble for its spring end-of-semester concert.
The jazz band concert will feature challenging music the students have been working on this semester and will also feature AWC vocal students Dorothy Sánchez and Charles Shepherd.
The performance will be held on Wednesday, May 8, at 7 p.m. at the AWC Theater located on the Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave 8E. A campus map can be found here.

February 28, 2023Yuma, AZ (February 22, 2023) – The community is invited to join the Arizona Western College Jazz Ensemble for its first concert of the spring semester.
The Jazz Ensemble will present a variety of jazz styles for all ages to enjoy during the performance, which will be held on Wednesday, March 8, at 7 p.m. at the Sun Vista RV Resort Ballroom, 7201 E. 32nd St.
The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to benefit student scholarships.

Yuma, AZ (April 21, 2022) – The Arizona Western College Jazz Ensemble will perform two back-to-back concerts on May 3-4.
The AWC Jazz Ensemble will present a concert at the AWC Theater, 2020 S. Ave. 8E, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3. The “Jazz Victuals” concert will have a food theme, a popular subject matter lobbied for by students in the band.

Take-Over Concert Held at Lutes Casino
October 18, 2017The Arizona Western College Jazz Ensemble will be performing during an upcoming Take-Over Concert at Lutes Casino, 221 S. Main St.
The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Lutes Casino will donate a percentage of every food order to benefit the Jazz Ensemble.
