October 24, 2019

Yuma, AZ (October 24, 2019) – Arizona Western College Talent Search is holding a Trick or Treat event for eighth-grade students in the program to help them learn about the different departments on campus.

Students will have an opportunity to tour various areas of the college, trick-or-treating in costume along the way. The group will learn about where services and offices are located, as well as the function of each department.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, beginning in the South Wing of the Schoening Conference Center at the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave 8E. The media is invited to attend this event.

Talent Search is a federally funded grant program through the U.S. Department of Education. It’s designed to help students graduate from high school and continue on to college, ultimately earning a post-secondary degree. Eligible students are potential first-generation college students, and/or low income.
