We offer a variety of classes for different levels of English. Classes are small, and you will be able to take them at various locations convenient for you.

We offer four levels of classes in different English content areas:

  1. Listening and speaking: You will learn and improve your English comprehension, and you will practice speaking in other social settings.
  2. Reading and writing: You will learn writing and reading comprehension techniques.
  3. Grammar: You will learn grammar rules and apply them to your everyday life and academic settings.

Don’t worry!

We will do everything in our reach to make sure tuition is affordable; in addition, Federal Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.

But… Where do I start?

First, you need to complete an admissions application. The application can be completed online, at the Yuma Campus, at the San Luis Learning Center, the Somerton Learning Center, or the AWC Downtown Center in Yuma (Near Home Depot).

After you submit the applications, the college will assign you a student identification number. With this number and your official identification card, you will be able to continue in the process.

Remember that we are here to serve you!

The next step will be to take a self-guided placement test. This test can be taken online.

If you have questions regarding testing, please call (928)344-7641.
