Yuma, AZ (February 2, 2022) – Arizona Western College leadership, a Law Enforcement Training Academy graduate, and a student currently enrolled in the Manufacturing program visited the Arizona Capitol building on Tuesday to showcase college programs.
Yuma, AZ (February 1, 2022) – In October 2021, the Arizona Western College Police Department (AWCPD) was named as the recipient of a $9,594 grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office for Highway Safety.
The funds will be used to purchase an Intoxilyzer 9000, a breath analyzer machine utilized to determine a person’s blood alcohol content.

Yuma, AZ (December 8, 2021) – The Arizona Western College Technology Service Desk recently expanded its hours to offer 24/7 support for students, faculty, and staff ahead of finals week.
The official rollout to extend service desk hours started Dec. 1, following a successful soft launch that began Nov. 1.
These critical service enhancements provide continued on-site and in-person technology support across district campus locations, ensuring that the college community has access to the resources they require to be successful in real-time.
