La Paz County leaders to speak at AWC Legislative Town Hall in Quartzite


On October 16th, Arizona Western College will host a free Town Hall event at the AWC Quartzite Learning Center. La Paz County leaders will cover topics such as education, water, workforce, and public safety, and address the way these issues translate into legislative action at the State level.

AWC invites students to High School Senior Days


Arizona Western College is pleased to welcome high school seniors from eight local schools over the coming weeks. Students are invited to learn about majors and programs, go on a guided tour, participate in a scavenger hunt, and have lunch on campus.

AWC Entrepreneurial College launches Logistics certification program


This October, Arizona Western Entrepreneurial College is launching a three-unit Logistics certification program. The 8-week introductory course, LGS 111, is scheduled to start on October 8 at the San Luis Learning Center and will be taught by Executive Director of the Greater Yuma Port Authority Buna George.

AWC Foundation presents the third-annual Schoolhouse Soirée


The Arizona Western College Foundation will be hosting the third-annual Schoolhouse Soirée on Friday, October 4. The event will honor Hall of Fame inductees Roberta "Bobbi" McDermott and Dennis Booth, as well as scholarship recipients and the generosity of donors.

AWC to host third-annual Legislative Town Hall on Oct. 1


On October 1, Arizona Western College is pleased to host six Yuma County legislators for a public Town Hall event. The event will feature a panel discussion hosted by AWC President Dr. Daniel Corr, highlighting the impact of the 2024 Legislative Session.
