National Transfer Student Week to be celebrated at AWC
October 12, 2021Events to support students with university transfer process
Yuma, AZ (October 12, 2021) – In a continued effort to reach Arizona Western College’s ambitious BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) of doubling baccalaureate attainment rates in the district, the college will be hosting several events and activities in conjunction with National Transfer Student Week from Oct. 18-22.
AWC Transfer Services will have a number of in-person and virtual opportunities to assist students on their path to a university. Events are for transfer students at AWC or current students considering attaining a bachelor’s degree.
National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) was started by the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS) as a celebration of transfer students and the professionals who support them.
