AWC Hosts 2017 Transfer Week

Yuma, AZ (February 21, 2017) - Arizona Western College will be hosting the 2017 Transfer Week March 6th through March 9th.  During this week, students will explore great transfer opportunities. Each day one of the Arizona universities will be featured and the activities will end with the annual Transfer Fairs at different Arizona Western College locations.

Monday, March 6, NAU-to-YOU Transfer Tour "From Matador to Lumberjack", 10:00am-3:45pm, Francis Morris Boardroom This event provides students with opportunities to become a Lumberjack in Fall 2017!  The event consists of submitting their application for admission, personal advising, enrollment into classes and financial guidance.

 Students are encouraged to RSVP to (928) 317-6400 or please include AWCID#, and session/time

Tuesday, March 7, University of Arizona Yuma Day "From Matador to Wildcat", 8:30am-4:00pm, Agriculture Science (AS)

This event provides students with opportunities to become a Wildcat in Fall 2017!  The event consists of submitting their application for admission, personal advising, financial guidance and enrollment into classes.  It also provides them with the opportunity to speak with representatives from different degree program (Colleges).

Wednesday, March 8, Arizona State University Day "From Matador to Sun Devil", 10:00am-4:30pm, Learning Resources (LR)

Transferring students learn what it takes to become a Sun Devil! Arizona State University will showcase their degree programs and respond to specific student inquires through the availability of program representatives. Colleges representing different programs will be at the College Fair to provide information about admission requirements, admission application and transfer process.

Thursday, March 9, Transfer Fairs are from 9:00am-12:30pm and 3:30pm-6:30pm, LR Atrium and Breezeway

Come out to explore future possibilities at AWC’s Transfer Fair. This year we offer two events to make this opportunity available to working students as well. Find out what it takes to transfer to a university.  Talk to representatives to find out who has the program you're interested in - or just explore what's available at each university. We have more than 14 universities participating including International ones.
