Parker, AZ (August 2, 2018) – The Arizona Western College Parker Community Center has been used as the venue for a variety of community activities and events when it’s not being used as classroom space.

The 11,200-square-foot facility, which opened in December of 2016, can also be converted into a large meeting area to accommodate 250 seated guests, dining style. The center also includes a fitness center, kitchen, and offices.

Located next door to the AWC Parker Learning Center, the building has proven to be an asset to the community with some agencies and entities using the facility multiple times a month.

Joy Reeves shared her appreciation for use of the space through her role as La Paz County Wellness Program Coordinator.

“I would like to thank the AWC Parker Community Center for allowing us to hold our various health screenings events during the year. The facility, as well as the AWC staff, are very accommodating, which contributes to the success of our events.”
