AWC choirs to present annual “Singing with the Masters” concert

Arizona Western College is seeking donations to support scholarships awarded at the annual La Cosecha banquet on May 14, which celebrates AWC students preparing to transfer to a university.
The Yuma Transfer and Career Expo will focus on providing students, alumni of Arizona Western College, and partner university students with transfer and career information as well as full and part-time employment, volunteer, and internship opportunities.
From March 2-5, AWC is collaborating with our university partners to host the 6th-Annual Desert Southwest Transfer Conference, which will offer a variety of transfer-focused activities to support students in the university transfer process.
The community is invited to a 5K Walk/Run and Community Resource Fair in celebration of the 40th Annual National TRIO Day on Saturday, February 28th.
Arizona Western College leadership recently participated in the National Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C. to advocate for federal policies affecting community colleges. During the summit, the AWC delegation met with members of Arizona’s congressional leadership to discuss student financial aid, workforce development, and more.
Arizona Western College Agriculture students and faculty recently attended the International Plant and Animal Genome Conference (PAG 33), where students gained insight into global agricultural challenges, emerging technologies, and potential career pathways.
On Feb. 19, the community is invited to Arizona Western College for the Pre-Symposium Day at AWC, a preview event of the Yuma Art Symposium. To highlight the event, four Symposium artists will showcase previews of their work.
The 2026 AWC Foundation scholarship cycle will run from February 15-April 1. With numerous scholarships available, current and incoming students are strongly encouraged to apply.
