Explore your next step at Yuma Transfer and Career Expo
October 13, 2026Yuma, Ariz. (October 13, 2026) – Next week, Arizona Western College will host the Yuma Transfer and Career Expo, an event dedicated to connecting the community with university representatives, career opportunities, and resources to support their educational and professional goals.
The free event will be held on Monday, October 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the 3C Breezeway of the AWC-Yuma Campus.
Hosted by AWC Career & Advisement Services and Transfer Services, the expo will focus on providing participants with transfer and career information as well as full and part-time employment, volunteer, and internship opportunities. Over thirty employers, agencies, organizations, and universities are scheduled to attend.
“The Yuma Transfer and Career Expo is a great opportunity for the community to explore their options and build a professional connection,” said Rosa Báez-Ruiz, AWC Career & Advisement Services and Career Services Development Coordinator. “Learning about career options early can help students make better decisions about their major, career, and transfer plans.”
