Celebrate creativity at the AWC Fall Student Art Showcase
August 17, 2026Yuma, Ariz. (August 17, 2026) – Arizona Western College (AWC) art students invite the community to the Fall Student Art Showcase. The exhibition features paintings, drawings, sculptures and more, highlighting students’ creativity and unique voices.
“This Showcase is a great chance to get a glimpse at what AWC students are creating: some of these works are class projects and some of them are created independent of any assignment,” said art professor Galen Dara Smith. “We look forward to seeing you there!”
The opening day of the Showcase will be complete with a reception and light refreshments on Monday, August 24, from 12 to 2 p.m. in the AWC Gallery (AB 110). A campus map can be found here.
The exhibition will run from August 24 to September 16 and is open to the public. The Art Gallery is open Monday-Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
