High school students invited to AWC Early College Day
August 10, 2026Yuma, Ariz. (August 10, 2026) – Arizona Western College (AWC) invites high school students and their families to Early College Kickoff on August 13 to kick start their journey in the AWC Early College program.
At the event, Early College and Advisement staff will walk students through an information session and admissions and registration assistance, as well as answering any questions that families have. Students do not need to be enrolled to attend; please bring a high school transcript.
“Early College gives students the opportunity to start building their future while still in high school,” said Biridiana Martinez, AWC Outreach, Recruitment & Early College Director. “Early College Kickoff is about helping students and families feel informed, supported, and confident as they begin their college journey. Our goal is to make the process simple and ensure every student is prepared to take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Bring your questions to the event on Thursday, August 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the AS building of the Yuma Campus. A campus map can be found here.
AWC Early College and Advisement teams are eager to connect with families and assist them through the enrollment process.
