Event Details
This intermediate-level course builds on foundational Excel skills, introducing more advanced tools for data analysis, organization, and presentation. Students will learn to work more efficiently with larger datasets and enhance their spreadsheet functionality.
Students will learn to:
- Use advanced formulas and functions (e.g., IF, VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, TEXT functions)
- Apply conditional formatting to highlight trends and exceptions
- Create and manage named ranges for easier formula writing
- Work with multiple worksheets and link data across workbooks
- Use data validation to control data entry and reduce errors
- Create and modify tables for structured data management
- Use PivotTables to summarize and analyze large datasets
- Customize charts and use chart elements for better visualization
- Apply sorting and filtering techniques to extract meaningful data
- Protect worksheets and workbooks with passwords and permissions
- Use logical and lookup functions to make data-driven decisions
- Explore basic macros and automation concepts (intro level)
