Find exclusive AWC apparel at Matador Merch

Yuma, Ariz. (May 13, 2025) – This March, Arizona Western College opened their very own merchandise store, “Matador Merch.” As the only place in town to purchase AWC gear, the merch store stocks a range of items from apparel and tote bags to desktop items and stickers, all designed by the AWC graphic design team.
Matador Merch is fully owned and operated by AWC, and without having to go through a third party, all profits stay with the institution.
“Our priority is to make the AWC brand accessible to our students and our community at an affordable price,” shared Dean of Marketing & Communications Mandy Heil, who spearheaded the project. “Matador Merch allows us to offer exclusive designs unique to AWC that our community can wear with pride.”
Located on the AWC Yuma Campus on the first floor of the Matador Activity Center, or MAC, the store is open Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and accepts credit, debit, and mobile tap payments. The store currently does not have a platform for online orders.
This week only, Matador Merch will also be open on Friday, May 16th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow students and the community a chance to buy last-minute gifts or “Alumni” merchandise before graduation. Additionally, look for the Matador Merch pop-up shop at the 2025 Commencement on Friday night!
