Yuma, AZ (November 26, 2019) – Frank Yiannas, the Deputy Commissioner for Food Policy and Response at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, will be speaking to agriculture students at Arizona Western College on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
Yiannas will meet with 15 to 25 students to talk about his role at the FDA and answer questions that students may have. His presentation will be of particular interest to AWC and University of Arizona - Yuma agriculture majors interested in a career in food safety.

Yuma, AZ (November 14, 2019) – The Arizona Western College choirs, orchestra, Community Band, and piano faculty will be performing during their annual Christmas Gala on Thursday, Nov. 21.
“The audience can expect to hear arrangements of familiar Christmas classics, as well as more unfamiliar or exotic selections from the various ensembles,” said Shawn Pollard, AWC Professor of Instrumental Music.
