Matadors to host K-12 Summer Basketball Camp
May 11, 2022Yuma, AZ (May 11, 2022) – The Arizona Western College Men’s Basketball team is hosting a Summer Basketball Camp for K-12 boys and girls from June 6-9.
The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily in the Gymnasium at the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. Matador coaching staff will teach basketball fundamentals such as footwork, ball handling, shooting form, defense, and rebounding.
The cost of the four-day camp is $100. All pre-registration forms must be received by June 2, either via mail or in person at the 3C building on the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E, by 5 p.m. that day. Campers can also register at the door on the first day of camp for $125. Participants should wear basketball attire (t-shirt, athletic shorts, and tennis/basketball shoes). All campers will receive an AWC T-Shirt.
