Jazz Ensemble to hold spring performance May 8
April 11, 2024Yuma, AZ (April 11, 2024) – The community is invited to join the Arizona Western College Jazz Ensemble for its spring end-of-semester concert.
The jazz band concert will feature challenging music the students have been working on this semester and will also feature AWC vocal students Dorothy Sánchez and Charles Shepherd.
The performance will be held on Wednesday, May 8, at 7 p.m. at the AWC Theater located on the Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave 8E. A campus map can be found here.
The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to benefit student scholarships.
This year, the Jazz Ensemble has previously performed during the Mardi Gras event on Main Street in Yuma, and has also played as part of the Village Jazz Series.
