Become a certified EKG Technician in under 12 weeks
May 22, 2025Yuma, Ariz. (May 22, 2025) – A new industry certification at Arizona Western Entrepreneurial College allows individuals to obtain an industry certification as an EKG Technician in under 12 weeks. With classes starting on June 2, students are encouraged to apply.
This course will prepare students to work as Certified EKG Technicians by providing an immersive learning experience into cardiovascular cell theory and anatomy, clinical skills for lead and treadmill patient assessment, experience reading applicable research, exploration of career opportunities, and professional development. After successful completion of the course, students will be prepared to take the National Healthcareer Association EKG Technician exam.
Classes will take place every Monday-Wednesday from June 2 to August 6 at the AWC Reskilling and Technology Center, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Labs will take place on select Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the AWC Yuma Campus: June 7, 21, 28, and July 19.
