AWC and Yuma host the NJCAA Softball Championship May 23-29

The Division I NJCAA Softball Championship comes to Yuma and the Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex this week!

The Home Run Derby is Sunday Night May 23rd at 7:00pm. Admission is free to the general public as 15 of the best home run hitters in the country take aim at the skyline of the Yuma foothills.

Tuesday the games begin at Noon!

Top seeded Salt Lake (UT) will take on Georgia Military, the 16 seed (on Field 1)

San Jacinto-South (TX) lands the 8 seed and will play the 9th seed Chattanooga State (TN) (Field 6) at Noon as well.

At 2:00pm, Field 1 will feature Wallace State (AL) as the 5th overall seed taking on red-hot Chipola (FL), the 12th seed.

Also at 2:00pm, Field 6 will see the 4th seed Grayson (TX) take on John A. Logan (IL) the 13th seed.

The 4:00pm games will see powerhouse Florida SouthWestern, the third overall seed matchup with the 14th seed Central Alabama on Field 1.

Field 6 will feature #6 Seminole State (OK) against Odessa (TX), the 11th seed.

The final batch of games for the evening will start at 6:00pm when Region I Champion, and the 7th seed, Yavapai (AZ) plays 10th seed Three Rivers (MO) on Field 1.

Field 6 will see the 2nd seed Butler (KS) take on #15 Trinity Valley (TX).

A 5-day pass will give you access to the entire event ($50 for adults/ $40 for seniors and students with ID)

A day pass is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students with ID.

Children under the age of 12 can enter for free.
