The development of skills, attitudes, and understandings that aid the individual in various communication situations, person-to-person communication, public speeches, discussions, and report presentations with the special emphasis on the study of the various principles of speech composition, audience analysis, and techniques of public address.
41% of people list public speaking as their biggest fear. However, mastering this fear and getting comfortable speaking in public can be a great ego booster, not to mention a huge benefit to your career. This workshop will give you some valuable public speaking skills, including in-depth information on developing an engaging program and delivering your presentation with power.
Upon completion of the class students will be able to:
- Know how to present the current open position
- Develop a workable hiring strategy
- Know how to determine which candidates to interview
- Utilize steps and techniques used in an interview
- Welcome newly hired employees
- Welcome potential candidates for the position

This course will enable you to properly prioritize your obligations, allowing you to improve performance and productivity. As a result, you’ll also achieve a better work/life balance, minimize the stress related to managing your tasks efficiently, and, ultimately, improve working relationships.
Registration Hours: Mon - Thurs 8AM - 5PM, Fri 8AM - 4PM payments accepted via phone, mail or walk in. Please make checks payable to AWC. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards accepted.
Refund/Cancellation Policy: A 100% refund will be granted if a request is made 2 business days prior to the start of class. A 50% refund will be issued if notice is received less than 2 business days prior to class. No refunds will be issued after the first day of class.
