Dear TRIO Supporters, Students, Alumni, and Community Partners,
Today, tomorrow, and always — TRIO works. TRIO leads. TRIO changes lives.
We invite you to join us as we celebrate National TRIO Day 2026 and honor 40 Years of Access, Success, and Opportunity at our 5K Run/Walk & Community Resource Fair!
📅 Saturday, February 28th
📍 Arizona Western College – Yuma Campus (P7 Parking Lot)
⏰ Registration begins at 7:00 AM | 5K starts at 7:30 AM
💲 Registration Fee: $25 (Payment due on site)
🎉 Events conclude at 12:30 PM
This year’s event is more than just a run — it’s a celebration of opportunity and a chance to give back. All proceeds will support TRIO student scholarships, helping us continue empowering first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students to reach their educational goals.
Whether you run, walk, donate, or sponsor a participant, your support directly impacts the next generation of leaders.
In addition, 5K participants are encouraged to bring a canned food donation benefiting Crossroads Mission, helping us serve our broader community.
