YUMA, Ariz. – At some point, you run out of superlatives to describe Patrick Macon. The Arizona Western linebacker won almost every award imaginable, led the Matador football team to the national championship game, graduated and transferred to Oklahoma State. Today he was named the 2017 David Rowlands Male Student-Athlete of the Year , given to the top male student-athlete in the NJCAA. He is the first Matador to earn the NJCAA’s top honor.
Massage Therapy students offer chair massages on campus
Yuma, AZ (July 20, 2017)-The Arizona Western College (AWC) Massage Therapy students will be offering chair massages in the College Community Center 3C on the Yuma Campus from 11am-1pm. The chair massages will be available, Thursday, July 27. The program students will be available for $10 for a 15 minute chair massage. No appointment will be necessary. And the public is welcome.

Yuma, AZ (July 5, 2017)—On July 5th, Southwest Gas Corporation presented a donation of equipment to the Arizona Western College Agricultural Land Lab and the Ernest Lopez Welding Institute. The AWC Agricultural Land Lab received a Honda 2000 Generator and Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor. The Ernest Lopez Welding Institute was presented with a Miller 2005 Engine Drive Welder.
