17 nursing students inducted into OADN Honor Society


17 fourth-semester student nurses were inducted into the Alpha Delta Nu-Iota Theta Chapter of the Organization of Associate Degree Nurses Honor Society at Arizona Western College, an accomplishment that demonstrates not only academic excellence but also a commitment to serving the Yuma community.

AWC names Dr. Shadi Kilani Executive Vice President of Entrepreneurial College


Arizona Western College announces Dr. Shadi Kilani has been selected to succeed Dr. Reetika Dhawan as Executive Vice President of the Entrepreneurial College. Beginning May 18, he will lead program development while collaborating with industry partners and government agencies to support workforce needs across the region.

Arizona Western College selected as one of three U.S. institutions for U.S.-India Partnership Lab on workforce innovation and AI


Arizona Western College (AWC) has been selected as one of only three institutions in the country to participate in the U.S.-India Partnership Lab. The initiative will connect the college with a leading institution in India to advance industry-aligned workforce programs and explore applied uses of artificial intelligence.

Drawing students showcase artwork at San Luis gallery event


The community is invited to a gallery exhibit at the San Luis Learning Center on April 29 featuring artwork from this semester’s Drawing I, II, and III students. A variety of unique pieces will be on display including complex murals, themed pieces, and even a tribute to AWC President, Dr. Daniel Corr.
