K-12 students invited to Summer Basketball Camp


Registration is open for the 2026 Chapman Automotive Summer Basketball Camp on June 1-4, 2026. K-12 boys and girls are invited to attend the four-day camp and learn footwork, ball handling, shooting form, defense, and rebounding from the Matadors coaching staff.

Local fifth graders experience college life at AWC


Arizona Western College recently welcomed over 70 fifth-grade students from James B. Rolle Elementary School to the Yuma Campus, encouraging them to begin envisioning their future in higher education during the semi-annual I’m Going to College event on March 5.
