Join AWC for National Transfer Student Week
September 26, 2023Yuma, AZ (September 26, 2023) – Arizona Western College is hosting several events and activities as part of National Transfer Student Week from Oct. 16-20.
In support of the college’s efforts to double the rate of earned baccalaureate degrees in the district by 2035, AWC Transfer Services will provide virtual and in-person opportunities to assist students on their path to a university. Events are available for transfer students at AWC or current students considering earning a bachelor’s degree.

Five-year report shows increase in AWC’s transfer rate
July 23, 2019Yuma, AZ (July 23, 2019) – A report provided by the Arizona State System for Information on Student Transfer (ASSIST) earlier this month reflected a 33.5% transfer rate increase over the last five years at Arizona Western College, compared to a -1.4% transfer rate statewide.
AWC to Celebrate Students at University Transfer Signing Day
November 15, 2017Yuma, AZ (November 15, 2017) – Arizona Western College Transfer Services, in collaboration with the AWC Foundation, AWC Alumni Association and the KEYS program, will be celebrating students at University Transfer Signing Day on Thursday, November 30. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the 3C Breezeway on the Yuma Campus.
AWC students who will be transferring to Arizona State University, University of Arizona, or Northern Arizona University in the spring will be recognized by institution representatives, who will also be available to respond to student inquiries.
