AWC to hold Mental Health First Aid certification training

February 7, 2019Yuma, AZ (February 11, 2019) – Learn the skills necessary to recognize and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders in the community during an upcoming training at Arizona Western College.
AWC’s Health and Wellness Department is hosting a Mental Health First Aid certification training from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21. The free training is open to the community and will be held in 3C Conference Room 2105 at the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. Participants will have a one-hour break for lunch.
