Parker Campus to present Open Mic Night opportunity

The artist showcase will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15. The American Literature Class at the AWC Parker Campus is sponsoring the event.

Workshops held in conjunction with Financial Aid Month at AWC
October 1, 2019Parker, AZ (October 1, 2019) – October is Financial Aid Month at Arizona Western College La Paz campuses.
Students in La Paz County will have the opportunity to attend Financial Aid Workshops to learn about what funding sources are available to them. Staff will assist participants in preparing for the Spring and Fall 2020 semesters by helping them complete the financial aid process and fill out the 2020/2021 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid.)
AWC graduates 31 students from La Paz County campuses
May 22, 2019Parker, AZ (March 22, 2019) – A total of 31 students recently graduated from Arizona Western College La Paz County campuses, with 12 receiving associate degrees and 19 completing certificate programs. This is an increase over last year’s nine associate degree recipients and seven certificate completions.
This growth has provided an opportunity for more students to become prepared for university programs and employment, which is in line with AWC’s Strategic Plan to increase the rate of baccalaureate degrees and eliminate poverty in the community.

AWC La Paz to host Start Up Saturday for future students

AWC La Paz campuses are gearing up for a one-day event that will assist future students through the enrollment process. AWC staff will be available to guide attendees each step of the way – through admissions, Accuplacer placement testing, registration, financial aid and advising.
Start Up Saturday will be held Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the AWC Parker Learning Center, 1109 Geronimo Ave.
