Join AWC for National Transfer Student Week
September 26, 2023Yuma, AZ (September 26, 2023) – Arizona Western College is hosting several events and activities as part of National Transfer Student Week from Oct. 16-20.
In support of the college’s efforts to double the rate of earned baccalaureate degrees in the district by 2035, AWC Transfer Services will provide virtual and in-person opportunities to assist students on their path to a university. Events are available for transfer students at AWC or current students considering earning a bachelor’s degree.

March 1, 2021Yuma, AZ (March 1, 2021) – Arizona Western College is collaborating with state university partners to offer an inaugural Desert Southwest Virtual Transfer Conference from March 8-11.
Financial Resources Night to be held March 13
March 5, 2019Yuma, AZ (March 5, 2019) – Arizona Western College invites the public to attend Financial Resources Night on Wednesday, March 13.
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with various financial resource offices about their services to help fund education and get on track with their financial health. Participants who visit at least five booths will be entered in a drawing for $50 gift cards.

February 20, 2019Yuma, AZ (February 20, 2019) – Arizona Western College will be hosting 2019 Transfer Week from March 4-7. During this week, students will have a chance to explore a variety of different transfer opportunities. Each day, one of the Arizona universities will be featured and a Transfer and Career Expo will also be held to provide students with the option of networking with employees and organizations for degree paths offered at participating universities.

Learn about what career opportunities are available within your major at AWC. Network with agencies and employers about current and future jobs, internships, and volunteer possibilities. Find out what it takes to transfer to a university. Talk to representatives to figure out what programs you’re interested in – or explore what degrees are offered at each university.

Each day one of the Arizona universities will be featured and the week’s activities will culminate with an annual Transfer Fair.
