AWC soccer teams to host NJCAA Division I Region I Championship games

Yuma, AZ (October 27, 2021) – For the first time in the program’s history, the Arizona Western College Men’s Soccer team (17-0 overall, 9-0 ACCAC) remained undefeated all season.
The Matadors won their 17th consecutive game on Saturday in Tucson against Pima, earning the title of ACCAC Conference Champions. This is the 4th time the program has held this title.
Matadors to compete for ACCAC Conference Championship, host NJCAA Playoffs
October 25, 2021Yuma, AZ (October 25, 2021) – The Arizona Western College Matador Volleyball team (15-6 overall, 9-2 ACCAC) will be competing for the ACCAC Conference Championship this week and is currently in the lead by one game.
The Lady Mats will take on Scottsdale first at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the House for Sophomore Night. The match will be broadcast on AWC TV and livestreamed on azwestern.edu/live.

July 26, 2017YUMA, Ariz. – At some point, you run out of superlatives to describe Patrick Macon. The Arizona Western linebacker won almost every award imaginable, led the Matador football team to the national championship game, graduated and transferred to Oklahoma State. Today he was named the 2017 David Rowlands Male Student-Athlete of the Year [1], given to the top male student-athlete in the NJCAA. He is the first Matador to earn the NJCAA’s top honor.
