Yuma, AZ (August 27, 2020) – The Arizona Western College community is saddened by the loss of former AWC President Dr.James “Jim” Carruthers. He passed away on July 22, at the age of 79.
AWC to Celebrate Students at University Transfer Signing Day
April 19, 2017The Arizona Western College Foundation, in collaboration with AWC Transfer Services and the KEYS program, will be celebrating students at the inaugural University Transfer Signing Day on Thursday, May 4th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the 3C Breezeway on the Yuma Campus. AWC students who will be transferring to a university in the fall will be celebrated and recognized by officials from Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, and Grand Canyon University.

AWC Fine Arts Presents “The Radio Active Variety Show”
February 9, 2017The Fine Arts Department at Arizona Western College will present “The Radio Active Variety Show”. This is a 1940's variety show featuring guest artist Justin Lujan, live radio plays, vocal and instrumental music. This event will take place on Saturday, February 25th at 7pm and Sunday, February 26th at 2:30pm at the AWC Theater located on the Yuma Campus. This is the AWC Fine Arts Department’s annual scholarship fundraiser.

The Arizona Western College Foundation would like to invite the community to their Schoolhouse Soiree on Saturday, November 5 from 6pm-9pm at the Gowan Company Patio (370 S Main St in Yuma). This will be an unforgettable evening in support of AWC Foundation programs and scholarships.
There will be live entertainment featuring the AWC Jazz Ensemble and Kolt Supa, award- winning concert pianist. There will also be a catered dinner and a cash bar.
YFVA Presents $10K to AWC to Fund the Jacob Louis Daily Memorial Scholarship
