Scholar selected for AWC Teacher of the Year Scholarship
May 7, 2018Yuma, AZ (May 7, 2018) – AWC student Colin Yancey is the Teacher of the Year Scholar for 2018. Yancey will receive a scholarship covering in-state tuition and fees for the 2018-2019 academic year at AWC.
He was selected for the award by AWC Teacher of the Year Sarah Berner, Professor of Agricultural Science. Berner shared that she selected Yancey from a group of approximately 200 agriculture majors, each one deserving of the scholarship.
