On behalf of Arizona Western College, we would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in our upcoming Student Etiquette Luncheon. The luncheon will be held on Friday April 19, 2024 from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm in the 3C Schoening Hall (Indoors) at the Yuma Campus located at 2020 S. Avenue 8E, Yuma, AZ.
Our emphasis for this event will be to provide you with tips on professional etiquette. During AWC’s Etiquette Luncheon, participants learn about and practice the following:
- how to conduct small talk and effectively network with new people
- how to dress for success
- how to maximize both verbal and non-verbal communication
- how to access the many career resources available at AWC
- importance of work ethic
As a college student at this event you will have the opportunity to interact with local community leaders, some of which are faculty members and administrators who work on campus. Others work in specific industries in the Yuma area. The general admission cost to attend this event is $ 10.00 (non-refundable). If for some reason you are in need of sponsorship for the $10 cost to attend the event, please reach out to me. We would be happy to assist you with gaining sponsorship to cover the cost to attend.
