This program combines paid hands-on learning from an employer with the guidance of experience Medical Assistant educators through AWC. This curriculum prepares students with back-office skills and experiences including fostering competencies to develop independence in a medical clinic.

Program Purpose

This is the second and final part of the Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program. This pathway expands on the curriculum from the Medical Assistant Level I program continuing to blend online and on-the-job learning modalities.

Learning Outcomes

Successful completion of both Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Level I & II will prepare and qualify for student to take the National Healthcare Association Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam.
