The precision agriculture certificate is designed to introduce students to management concepts based on the application of modern information technologies for decision-making and operations in the management of agricultural production.
Program Purpose
Precision agriculture includes all new technology being used in the field of agriculture. In order for our students to be competitive they must have some basic knowledge of the technology and techniques being introduced.
Learning Outcomes
Students will identify ethical, social, and economic issues involving commercial agriculture through understanding the significance of plant and animal science in everyday life and the careers required to ensure food security.
