Parker Open Mic to feature special guest author Arturo Magaña

The event will feature special guest Arturo Magaña, author of Nostalgias of November.

March 12, 2024Yuma, AZ (March 12, 2024) – Creative Writing students, with the support of the Liberal Arts Division of Arizona Western College, will host the second annual campus-wide Open Mic from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, March 27, at the AWC Yuma Campus Academic Library. This event is the celebratory closing ceremony for the annual Student Showcase.
Writing School to host Open Mic Night for students, community
March 15, 2023Yuma, AZ (March 15, 2023) – The Arizona Western College Writing School will host an Open Mic Night on Wednesday, April 26, from 6-8 p.m. at the AWC Yuma Campus in Room 282 of the Academic Complex (AC) Building.
Writers, musicians, dancers, comics and spoken-word artists of all types are welcome to deliver four- to six-minute presentations of their work. Performances should be suitable for a small stage in front of a live audience. Pre-registration is recommended as performance slots are limited.
