Workbench

Upon logging in, you'll see the following tabs on your Workbench page.

Create Content Tab

Clicking on Create Content shows content that you're allowed to create. Your options may differ than the ones present in the screenshot.

Click Basic Page to start the creation process.

Add a Title

Create a title for your page. This title will be used in the header is a part of the URL.

Add Content to Body

Here, you'll be able to add content to the body (the content that will show up on your page). The editor's toolbar provies many tools to use when editing your page. Hover over an icon on the toolbar to see what it does.

Filtered HTML and Full HTML

Below the body is a dropdown list with three options. Filtered HTML and Full HTML are the two options you should generally use. In some cases, you'll want to alternate between the two when editing.

Filtered HTML

  • Easily edit text
  • Limited tools
  • Better to edit in

Full HTML

  • Applies custom AWC styles
  • May be unable to edit some content (in tabs or accordions)
  • Always save in

Revision Message

If you'd like, add a revision message for logging.

Moderation State

Set your moderation state.

Draft

  • Can continue to edit
  • Can view how page will look (without secondary menu)
  • NOT LIVE

Needs Review

  • Sends administrators email to review before publishing
  • This state means you're ready for the page to go live
  • NOT LIVE

Click save.
