Adding a New File

Search with File Browser to verify the file doesn't already exist. 

File Browser can be found under the Workbench menu.

Find the File Browser to begin Search

Search by the Title or within a Folder

Use the Search

Create a new file

Click on File in Add Content menu.

Create a descriptive title

This is used in the search and should have good key words.

Choose the Department Folder

Choose the appropriate folder to upload the document.

Browser for the File on your local machine

Click the Red Browse Link and find the file you want to upload from the computer.

Browse your local machine and upload the document and click next button

Allowed File Types: pdf, docx, doc, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, ppsx, txt, rtf

Choose the Site Section

Only sections you have access to will be enabled. All other sections should be disabled.

Save the File

Ignore the Download Type field and Save the file
