Students will get a better understanding of the diseases that are tracked and investigated as communicable disease cases and gain further knowledge of how interventions to stop the spread of disease is implemented.
This session will provide resources and activities that promote healthy living through fun physical activities, food preparation, and information about cooking classes, gardening workshops, assistance with food garden projects, and more.
Importance of immunizations, tracking of ongoing medical treatments, and understanding the awareness of early treatment of diseases.
Mosquito control and how the Vector Control Technicians perform their duties
Importance of nutrition, health care, and social services available for the healthy development of a child.
Admission and Additional Details
Participants must be at least 16 years of age.
