Start Up Saturday to help future students reach academic goals

October 31, 2019

Parker, AZ (October 31, 2019) – Don't have time during the week to inquire about AWC? Come by on Saturday, Nov. 16, to check off your pre-enrollment to-do list just in time for Spring 2020 registration.

Prospective or incoming students are invited to drop in from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Start Up Saturday at the AWC Parker Learning Center, 1109 Geronimo Ave.

The event will assist future Matadors through the enrollment process. Campus staff will be available at various stations to guide students each step of the way – through admissions, placement testing, registration, financial aid, advising, submitting enrollment documents, and signing up for new student orientation.

Participants will need to bring a driver’s license, state ID, U.S. Passport, valid employment authorization card, permanent resident card, military ID, or birth certificate for proof of identification. High school students who do not have an ID can bring a high school issued student ID along with their birth certificate. Attendees should also bring their 2018 tax returns if completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.
