Classical Pianist Dr. Raymond Ryder to Give a Free Concert at AWC

Arizona Western College is excited to have Raymond T. Ryder, a classical pianist, on campus on Wednesday, October 12. He is from Tucson, Arizona and will be giving a free concert on the Yuma Campus in the Music Building (Rm 102) at 6 PM.

Raymond T. Ryder holds a doctorate in piano performance from the University of Arizona where he studied under Rex Woods. He has served as President of the Arizona State Music Teachers Association and was named their Honored Teacher in 2014. Dr. Ryder is an adjunct faculty member at Pima Community College and also teaches piano privately in Tucson. In addition to his piano activities, Dr. Ryder rings in Sonoran Bells and is pianist/organist and handbell director at Desert Skies United Methodist Church.
