AWC Parker Learning Center to host Start Up Saturday for future students

March 11, 2019

Parker, AZ (March 11, 2019) – Prospective or incoming students are invited to drop in and complete their pre-enrollment to-do list during a Start Up Saturday event on March 16.

With open registration right around the corner in April, AWC is gearing up for a one-day event that will assist future Matadors through the enrollment process. Campus staff will be available to guide students each step of the way – through admissions, placement testing, advising, submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), submitting enrollment documents, and signing up for new student orientation.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the AWC Parker Learning Center, 1109 Geronimo Ave.

Participants will need to bring a driver’s license, state ID, U.S. Passport, valid employment authorization card, permanent resident card, military ID, or birth certificate for proof of identification. High school students who do not have an ID can bring a high school issued student ID along with their birth certificate. Attendees should also bring their 2017 tax returns if completing the FAFSA application.

For questions about this event, contact the AWC Parker Learning Center Admissions and Registration Office at awc.lapaz@azwestern.edu or at (928) 669-2214.
